Our Story
Bánh cuốn is a traditional family profession that has been passed down through generations, starting from my grandmother’s time. She began making bánh cuốn in 1982, selling them from a small stall in front of her house. She meticulously prepared and selected the ingredients for the filling, and ground fresh rice flour daily. Thanks to her careful preparations and delicious flavors, her reputation grew, and more people came to know about her bánh cuốn.
With just two small rice steaming pots in front of her house, my grandmother could support and raise eight grown-up children. Now, her descendants continue the tradition of making bánh cuốn and have expanded with several branches in Đồng Nai province, Vietnam. The branch in San Diego is the first one in the USA, and we are determined to open more branches to introduce this familiar Vietnamese breakfast to the Vietnamese community in the United States, spreading the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine to the world.
the first and original location is 8 Tran Quoc Toan Street, KP3, Binh Da, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai, Vietnam.
